Three DLL C2 URLs share a path, but not evidence of contact
Three HTTP C2 URLs appear in one Windows DLL’s extracted configuration. Two hosts also share name servers and a service fingerprint, while the third has a different footprint and later registration date; none is confirmed as a server the DLL contacted.
Three web addresses extracted from a Windows DLL end in the same path, /8/forum.php, and all are designated as command-and-control endpoints. That gives the addresses a concrete relationship: they belong to one sample’s configuration. But do they also describe three servers that the malware reached, or even three services operating together? The evidence reviewed by CTX Threat Intelligence supports a more specific finding.
